The France captain is out of contract in 2024 after informing the Ligue 1 champions that he will not be taking up the option of extending his stay for an extra year.
That leaves the club with a decision over whether to sell now or allow him to leave for free next summer.

Former PSG sporting director Leonardo believes that now is the time for Mbappe to leave PSG.
Speaking to L'Equipe, the Brazilian said: "Paris Saint-Germain existed before Kylian Mbappe and it will exist after him.
"He's been in Paris for six years and over those six seasons five different clubs have won the Champions League, none of which had Mbappe in their ranks.
"That means it's entirely possible to win this competition without him."
Six PSG players have complained to the club after comments made by Mbappe in an interview.
Speaking to L'Equipe, the Frenchman claimed that the Ligue 1 champions were a "divisive club" which tends to "attract gossip".
And according to The Athletic, those remarks have upset several of his colleagues.
PSG believe that Mbappe has already agreed a deal to sign for Real Madrid on a free transfer next summer.
The Frenchman was sent a letter by his club on Monday making it clear he would be sold this summer unless he signs a new contract.
However, Sky Sports report that the Ligue 1 champions are concerned a 2024 move to the Bernabeu has already been set in motion.
