Lesotho will look to make it two wins on the trot in their 2023 Cosafa Cup bid when they take on Mozambique at the Princess Magogo Stadium on Monday evening.

Likuena ended a four-match losing streak in their Cosafa Cup opener on Friday, following a 2-0 win over Mauritius at the King Zwelithini Stadium.
Lesotho looked comfortable throughout the encounter as goals from Neo Mokhachane and Motebang Sera ensured Likuena maximum points in Durban.
As it stands, Lesotho occupy top stop in Group C, with Angola, Mauritius and opponents Mozambique yet to enter the winning column.
Reflecting on Lesotho’s chances in the Cosafa Cup, Likuena assistant coach Bob Mafoso mentioned that he will do everything in his power to make a contribution to the team after being roped in to work alongside Leslie Notsi on an interim basis.
“I think it has been a great period of my coaching career. I have since seen that those that come with much pressure are the ones that make one grow more in the game,” Mafoso said.
“We all want to make a difference where we can and I feel honoured to be part of the team, on this interim basis, it is growth that most of us aspire for.
“That is the target, we have agreed that we want to give it our best. The players who are key towards this objective have also been very dedicated to the cause.
“We think there is potential to go as far as we can with this group of players. Most of them have the international experience, we have a coach who has been in these situations before, so the signs are good.”
