YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed" has once again proven why he might be the top dog in the streaming scene. The streamer received a personalized invitation from Antonio Rüdiger, the Real Madrid defender, to come and hang out with fellow Los Blancos players in the hotel they were staying at in Manchester, United Kingdom.
Darren was in the Etihad Stadium yesterday (April 17), rooting for the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners. The Spanish giants eventually did manage to win against the reigning champions Manchester City after beating them 4-3 via penalty shootouts.
After the match, IShowSpeed even got to meet with Rüdiger, who scored the winning penalty goal. The German defender extended an invitation to the streamer, stating:
YouTube streamer IShowSpeed frequently demonstrates his international stardom by rubbing shoulders with renowned celebrities and athletes worldwide. Antonio Rüdiger was the latest star to make an appearance on his stream.
Following Real Madrid's victory against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, Rüdiger even caught up with the streamer. The defender said:
