Liam Delap scored on his U21 debut for Lee Carlsey's England and helped them cruise to a 3-0 victory over Luxembourg in their Euro 2025 qualifier on Monday.
Liam - the son of former Republic of Ireland international Rory Delap - opened the scoring by finishing off a neat move from close range two minutes before half-time.
Delap, who is currently on loan at Hull City from Man City, is still eligible to play for Ireland as talk grows about his current U21 boss Carsley taking over from Stephen Kenny in the Irish senior job.
Callum Doyle followed suit on his U21 international bow as he doubled the European Champions' advantage on 58 minutes before Chelsea new boy Cole Palmer added a third to seal the win.
The result puts England top of Group F, ahead of Luxembourg on goal difference, though three of the six teams in the group have yet to play their opening game.
