Lionel Messi's arrival at Inter Miami has created a new chapter in his iconic career as the World Cup winner looks to make an impact in the USA.
On the back of winning the 2022 World Cup with Argentina, Messi looked increasingly likely to cut ties with PSG at the end of the 2022/23 season, as he looked for a new challenge.
Despite receiving an offer to join the growing exodus of Europe-based players to Saudi Arabia, Messi opted against a switch to the Middle East, in favour of heading to Florida.
Messi wants extend his career in Miami, as part of his wider plan to lead Argentina at the 2026 World Cup, jointly held in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
