Liverpool and Everton have been drawn in group B for the 2023/24 FA Women's Continental Tyres League Cup.
It's a tough group for the Merseyside clubs with WSL opponents Manchester City and Leicester City also drawn. The other northern group sees Aston Villa take on four Championship teams.
WSL clubs competing in the UEFA Women's Champions League are exempt from the group stages and will enter at the quarter-final stage. However, if Manchester United are to get knocked out in the qualifying rounds in Europe, they will be placed into group B. Arsenal will be drawn into either group C, D or E if their UWCL journey is cut short.
Last term, Everton failed to make it out of their group while Liverpool reached the knock-out stages. Matt Beard's side were beaten by West Ham United 1-0 at the quarter-final stage.
