Two forwards should be first names on the teamsheet if they are to beat Atalanta in Bergamo tomorrow, according to John Aldridge in his weekly Liverpool Echo column. Liverpool fans have been having their say ahead of the vital Europa League fixture in our comments section.
"Jota needs a game so I’d start him, and I’d start Gakpo as well," Aldridge writes. "He deserves it. With one other, any of the other three." He goes on to to say that he can see the pressure being on the forwards and says that: "the strikers have got to start believing in themselves. They can score goals, all of them, they’re all goalscorers. They’ve got to believe that they can."
John urges the team to find their motivation and go for it with a positive attitude as he says: "there’s nothing to lose so just go for it. Believe and go for it."
Commenter Fidelis Fautor agrees with John and goes on to place the rest of the team: "Front three for me is Gakpo Jota and Salah. They have been the most consistent. I would put Elliott and Macca as the two 8's and CuJo as the holder. Gotta be Trent and Robertson in back with Virgil and Quansah." User Pauul9 thinks he would "save Nunez, Salah and Jota until the second half, and just play it tight and hopefully go in 1-nil half time, then unleash them."

Darwinner has his own opinion: "I'd start Jota, Nunez and Salah up front. I think Nunez will create more chances, and Jota or Mo will be there to poach off spills and misses. I don't think Diaz is doing enough. Gakpo has been good lately but hasn't looked like he could start a goal
