Liverpool star Luis Diaz is on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain as they prepare for life without Kylian Mbappe, according to reports.
Mbappe, 25, is in his last year at Parc des Princes and is expected to leave when his contract ends this season. It's thought that Real Madrid have finally secured him, but this hasn't been officially confirmed yet. After keeping hold of their star forward for so long, PSG are now looking at how they can shape their team for the 2024/25 season and beyond. And it looks like they're eyeing up one of the Premier League's top forwards, Diaz, to replace Mbappe.
Foot Mercato has reported that PSG will keep focusing on players like Diaz, who has been playing really well since he joined Liverpool in January 2022. It's also been said that Raul Pais Da Costa, Diaz's agent, has been talking to Antero Henrique, who used to be PSG's sporting director. Henrique still has a role in choosing new players for PSG and he's close with Da Costa, reports the Mirror.

Even though PSG might want Diaz to replace Mbappe, it's thought that Liverpool wouldn't be open to selling the Colombian player this summer. Also, PSG probably wouldn't want to spend excessively on the 27-year-old. Even if Liverpool's stance were to soften in the coming months, doing a deal would not be straightforward given the structural changes which are due to take place at Anfield over the summer.
