The versatile Joe Gomez is drafted in at right-back as Ibrahima Konate returns alongside Virgil van Dijk and Kostas Tsimikas, who comes in for Andy Robertson on the left side of the back four.
Wataru Endopatrols the engine room in the No.6 position with Alexis Mac Allister and Curtis Jones ahead of the Japan captain. It's Jones's first start since the 4-1 win over Brentford nearly two months ago.
