Paul Gorst: It’s a difficult balancing act for Jurgen Klopp tonight as not only are Liverpool overwhelming favourites, everyone is also expecting the goal difference to be significantly padded and top stars to get enough rest in too.
Klopp, of course, said he would be treating rock-bottom Sheffield United with the utmost respect and that is to be expected but I still think there will be a decent amount of rotation this evening.
Jarell Quansah and Conor Bradley will keep their places but there is a start for Kostas Tsimikas at left-back. Virgil van Dijk starts and Ibrahima Konate can rest up. Joe Gomez too.

Wataru Endo keeps his place in midfield and I’m giving the nod to Ryan Gravenberch and Harvey Elliott also. Bobby Clark can wait in the wings and maybe some minutes for Curtis Jones, who hasn’t played since mid-February.
And up top, Luis Diaz can have the night off and Cody Gakpo comes into the side. Liverpool should have too much for Chris Wilder’s men if they take it seriously. And with the chance to regain top spot available to them, they will definitely be doing that.

Ian Doyle: The worst team in the Premier League, at least statistically, visits Anfield this evening. But we’ve all been too long in the game to think Sheffield United will roll over and let Liverpool tickle their proverbial belly.
