Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai is being backed to transform himself into a defensive midfielder in the image of Italy legend Andrea Pirlo.
Szoboszlai has made an impressive start to his Reds career following a £60million move from RB Leipzig last month, and was man of the match in the 3-1 win over Bournemouth on his Anfield debut last Saturday.
The 22-year-old has forged his reputation as an all-action midfielder and has featured on both the left and right of the central triumvirate under Jurgen Klopp already.
But his Hungary national team boss Marco Rossi believes Szoboszlai, who is captain of his country, can eventually blossom into a world-class number six.

"I know he said that he doesn't like too much to play in this position, but I really think that in the future he could be a fantastic number six," said Rossi.
"He has all the skills to be in this position, like (Andrea) Pirlo was, just to give an example. I think Pirlo was the best in this position in the last 15 years, and Dominik has really good skills to play in this position."
Szoboszlai had a part in two goals for Liverpool at the weekend, winning a penalty eventually converted on the rebound by Mohamed Salah and then seeing his powerful long-range drive spilled by Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto before Diogo Jota reacted quickest to convert the loose ball.
The midfielder scored 20 goals in 91 appearances for Leipzig having netted 26 in 83 games for Red Bull Salzburg, and Rossi is convinced Szoboszlai has the ability to start finding the target in the Premier League.
