Just days after Sunday's dramatic Carabao Cup final victory over Chelsea, Liverpool are back in action tonight as they take on Championship high-flyers Southampton in the FA Cup fifth round.
The Reds will be hoping to navigate their way past Russell Martin's side and edge closer to arranging a return date at Wembley for the FA Cup final - which would be Jurgen Klopp's last game as Liverpool manager.
Tonight's match, though, promises to be anything but straightforward with the Reds currently nursing a whole host of injuries at the AXA Centre after Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo added to that number on Sunday night. That list already contained the names of Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Dominik Szoboszlai, who Klopp labelled as "touch and go" for this evening's clash when speaking at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
But even if Liverpool were to be boosted by the return of either of the aforementioned trio, they would still be without Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota and Joel Matip.
