'Love watching it' - Roy Keane praises 'smart' Liverpool player for key role in Brighton win
Roy Keane has praised Alexis Mac Allister for his role in Liverpool's winning goal against Brighton.
The Reds recorded a 2-1 victory over the Seagulls in the Premier League clash on Sunday. Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah scored the goals that secured the three points for Liverpool at Anfield.
Liverpool were trailing early on in the game when Danny Welbeck opened the scoring for Brighton on Merseyside. The Reds responded with Diaz's goal before half-time, while Salah's strike came just after the hour-mark.
Mac Allister made the pass to bypass the Brighton defence to tee up Salah to give Liverpool the lead. The Argentina international's role in the goal, as well as his overall performance, has been praised by Keane.
Sunday saw Keane work as a pundit for Sky Sports, where the Manchester United legend was asked to give his verdict on the goal that won the game for Liverpool.

"Brilliant, brilliant pass, Mac Allister," Keane told Sky Sports. "He is a smart footballer, I’ll tell you that.
"I’m impressed with him and his decision-making. And again, like anything else when you just speed things up in the final third.
"He gets it here, the execution, the weight of the pass, the first touch from Salah - beautiful. Sexy football to me, this, love watching it."
Mac Allister has played a pivotal role in Liverpool's success so far this season since his move from Brighton last summer and was understood to be in the region of £35 million to £45 million.
