Future Tottenham ace Luka Vuskovic delivered quite the performance for new loan club Radomiak Radom on Monday evening. Linking up with the Polish side at the end of January from Hajduk Split, the highly-rated centre-back was on the scoresheet in a 2-1 win.
As good as his goal was in the 17th minute of the contest, what Vuskovic did on the pitch over the course of the 90 minutes was just as impressive. It perhaps explains why Tottenham were so keen to complete a £12million deal with Hajduk Split for the 17-year-old midway through September and tie him down to a contract until the summer of 2030.
Due to FIFA rules, Vuskovic, who stands at 6ft 4ins, will have to wait until he can arrive in England in 2025 when he is 18-years-old. However, what he does for Radomiak Radom this season will only benefit Tottenham in the long run and help aid his development as he bids to become a Premier League star for Ange Postecoglou.
Hosting Stal Mielec at home on Monday, Vuskovic opened the scoring with a brilliant header from Dawid Abramowicz's long throw. In the opposition's box due to his size and aerial quality, the Croat managed to nod the ball into the far corner of the net despite having three players surrounding him.
Vuskovic also wasn't far off adding a second goal in the first half. Beating his marker at the front post to get on the end of an outswinging corner, the defender met the ball brilliantly but his powerful header rattled the crossbar and bounced back out to the edge of the area.
