Harry Maguire came out fighting by insisting that his win rate at Manchester United is 'ridiculously high' and won't 'sit and play once a month'.
The England international refused a summer move to West Ham to stay at the Red Devils despite being stripped of the captain's armband, though he still maintains a bit-part role under manager Erik ten Hag.
Opta analysis though shows that out of any player with five or more appearances since the Dutchman took over, Maguire has a better winning percentage than any other United player.
In 35 appearances since the start of last season, United have prevailed on 27 occasions, with Maguire's win percentage at 77 per cent. In the 18 matches he has started, he has a win percentage of 78 per cent - only less than two players for all those who have made ten or more starts.

Ten Hag decided to replace the veteran Spaniard with Andre Onana this past summer, in a decision, which so far, has failed to pay off.
De Gea, who first joined United in 2011, made 545 appearances for the club - 58 of which came under Ten Hag.
In that time he won 37 games at a win percentage of 64 - considerably higher than Onana after the Cameroonian shot-stopper's first 11 games.
Onana, is one of only two players to have made five or more appearances for United and to have lost more games than he has won. The other being Rasmus Hojlund (38 win percentage) - showing just how bad it has been for United so far this season.
