Bruno Fernandes gave a rousing speech to his Manchester United teammates at half-time during their dramatic 2-1 win over Brentford prior to the international break.
United looked on course for a seventh defeat in 11 games a fortnight ago, having gone into the break 1-0 down. Brentford's Mathias Jensen opened the scoring, capitalising on a string of defensive errors and squeezing a weak effort past Andre Onana.
Erik ten Hag's side were still a goal down when Scott McTominay came on in the 87th minute, but the midfielder scored twice in added-time to turn the scoreline on it's head. It was by no means a top performance from the Reds but two late goals was evidence of their fight - and it was club captain Fernandes who got them going.

"Of course I enjoy it, it’s a privilege for me to be captain of the club, and, sometimes, I can understand that the moment is not the best," Fernandes told United's official website. "But you have to try to get the best out of your teammates.
"'We can do it. We have done this in the past. We have been losing games and we came back. We know what we have to do. So just keep going, keep the belief.’ I think when I said those words in the dressing room, everyone was like: ‘OK, we can do something’."
United continued to struggle in the second half against a resolute Brentford side. Ten Hag made a number of attacking changes but his players looked to be running out of ideas.
