The opening two fixtures in the 2023/24 Premier League season have so far seen mixed results for the title and top-four hopefuls. Bernardo Silva has put pen to paper on a new contract at Manchester City, the club confirmed on Wednesday evening.
The Portugal international has been rumoured to make an exit almost every window for the past two years but has now squashed those rumours. Silva, of course, has a storied history with Liverpool supporters as a result of the two clubs competing for the title on multiple occasions.
