Manchester City played a total of 61 matches during last season’s Treble campaign and will play 62 if they go all the way in the FA Cup and Champions League this term.
After the Phil Foden show in Wednesday's 4-1 win over Aston Villa, the Blues have played 47 matches this term so far, meaning a potential 14 matches within the next eight-and-a-half weeks should the Treble holders make both the cup finals. In the Premier League Liverpool take on Sheffield United on Thursday night knowing a win will move them back to the top after Arsenal beat Luton Town on Wednesday night. The Gunners and City each have eight games to play.
