Manchester United star Antony is reportedly set to face new allegations of domestic violence against his ex-wife, this time taking place in England.
Brazilian publication UOL are reporting that legal representatives of Gabriela Cavallin, a prominent DJ and influencer who has since separated from the footballer, are preparing to file a police report against the player in England, where he now resides.
It is alleged that Cavallin, who filed a report on similar allegations against Antony back in Brazil in June, suffered aggression and threats while living in Manchester United.
UOL claim they have seen a 70-page document from Cavallin's representatives, which features evidence of alleged abusive behaviour and aggression carried out by Antony against the DJ.
The Brazilian report cites Cavallin's lawyer, Vanessa Souza, who is said to claim that the Manchester United player could face as many as three different crimes in England.
'The sending of threatening messages, the fact that he locked her in the house and domestic violence - with the displacement of the breast prosthesis and the injury to the fingers - are actions classified as three different crimes in England,' Souza told UOL .
She added: 'I was contacted through Gabriela's lawyers in Brazil to represent her interests with the Crown Prosecutor Service (England prosecutors) and the Manchester Police.
'I initiated contact with the legal sector of Antony's team and they were surprised. They are very respectful. these British bodies and treat it very seriously.'
Cavallin claims she still has trouble sleeping follow the alleged behaviour of the footballer.
Antony remains under investigation in Brazil.
