Manchester City were able to garner 72% of the possession on Sunday, and that was almost solely thanks to the outstanding performance from the best midfielder in the world right now: Rodri.
The Spain international best Declan Rice in the middle of the park with rather astounding ease at the Etihad Stadium, winning a quite frankly ridiculous 15 duels and completing 108 passes.
He's too good.
When you're being described as a League Two-level player by a pundit (Roy Keane, obviously) after a big game, you know that you perhaps didn't play particularly well.
And while we're not going to go as far as to compare him to a League Two player, the truth is, Erling Haaland really, really, struggled at the Etihad on Sunday.
The Norway striker was in search for his 30th strike of the season so far in the clash with Arsenal, but never once looked remotely capable of scoring that milestone goal. In fact, he rarely looked remotely capable of completing a pass never mind scoring a goal — completing just seven throughout the 90 minutes.
That was in large part due to the brilliance of Arsenal's centre-backs William Saliba and Gabriel, who were utterly dominant during the game, keeping Haaland at bay through tight marking and hard tackling.
