Manchester United to decide Hannibal Mejbri's future ahead of transfer deadline
Manchester United have still not made a final decision on whether to keep Hannibal Mejbri beyond the closure of the transfer window.
Mejbri, 20, is in contention to make the matchday squad for the Premier League visit of Nottingham Forest on Saturday as Mason Mount is out injured and it is unclear if Harry Maguire will be fit.
Borussia Dortmund registered their interest in Mejbri early in the summer but he enjoyed a productive pre-season with United and travelled on the tour of the United States.
Mejbri's future is likely dependent on whether other players depart from similar positions. United are prepared to sell Donny van de Beek although interest from Real Sociedad has cooled.

Mejbri has played three times for United since he joined the club's academy from Monaco in a €10million deal in 2019.
The Tunisia international played 41 times on loan for Birmingham City last season, with them 23 of them starts.
United sources say there remains significant interest in signing left-back Alvaro Fernandez, either on loan or permanently. Burnley, linked with Fernandez, expect the Spaniard to go to La Liga side Granada.
Fernandez, 20, spent last term on loan at Preston North End in the Championship and he is currently United's second-choice left-back, with Tyrell Malacia sidelined through injury and Brandon Williams free to leave.
United signed Fernandez from Real Madrid's academy in 2020.
