Fluminense midfielder Andre has opened the door to signing for Liverpool during the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old has confirmed he turned down the chance to secure a move to an unnamed side during the summer, having been persuaded by his club manager Fernando Diniz to remain put and help fight for the Copa Libertadores trophy.
His decision to show loyalty to Fluminense has paid off, subsequently reaching the final of the historic South American club competition to set up a colossal showdown with Boca Juniors on November 4.

Andre will participate in only seven more league fixtures after this game before the Brazilian season reaches a conclusiuon, ensuring January could be the time his employers decide to cash in.
Offering his view on what he believes will happen as regards his future, the Brazil international admitted: "At the end of the year, I don't know what will happen, many things could happen.
"I'm sure that just having arrived here, knowing that it worked, was something that helped me a lot as a person and also helped me in my career. I think that as Diniz said, when we make the right choice, when we are faithful and when we act honestly, good things always happen ahead."
Liverpool have been monitoring the progress of Andre for at least 18 months and were in discussions over a permanent deal during the summer. The Reds retain an interest in the player and could therefore test the resolve of Fluminense during the winter window.
