Brighton will travel to face Marseille in their first-ever European away game this Thursday evening.
The Seagulls got their Europa League campaign underway against AEK Athens two weeks ago, but the occasion was spoilt as the visitors came away 3-2 winners.
Robert De Zerbi’s side did not get off to the dream start they hoped and they head into this tough clash off the back of a nightmare performance.
They were demolished by Aston Villa at the weekend in the Premier League, losing 6-1 and heading back to the South Coast humiliated.
That will be music to the ears of Marseille who are in need of a positive result themselves, with the Ligue 1 side winless in five games in all competitions.
This Europa League Group B clash will take place on Thursday, October 5.
Kick-off at the Stade Orange Velodrome in Marseille, France is scheduled for 5:45pm UK time.
