Mason Mount believes he has had a 'very good start' to life at Manchester United despite the club's ropy form.
Mount joined United in the summer transfer window after a contract dispute with Chelsea, leading to a £60million transfer.
But the England international has not had the best of starts, struggling for form alongside the Red Devils and has played just four times in the Premier League.
He has yet to score or assist in the league, though he does have one assist in the Carabao Cup during a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace.
Nevertheless, the midfielder has insisted he has got off to a bright start at Old Trafford.
He said: «It has been a very good start. I mean, integrating in the team, understanding the way the managers wants to play.
»I am learning the players around me, how they play. It takes some time to understand that and get into a flow.
«I want to improve my performances but I think that will come over time.
»Also, performances as a group, I think we are getting there and we will keep continuing to work at that."
Mount was handed the iconic No. 7 shirt when he joined United this summer.
He follows in the footsteps of some of the biggest players to strut their stuff at Old Trafford, including David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo and Eric Cantona.
But some have wilted under the pressure of the shirt, with big-name stars like Alexis Sanchez, Angel Di Maria and Memphis Depay all failing to impress.
