Mauricio Pochettino Chelsea record compared to Tuchel and Potter makes for worrying reading
Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is continuing to struggle at Stamford Bridge, as he witnessed his side fall to a seventh defeat of the Premier League season at Goodison Park on Sunday.
The Blues were condemned to yet another loss thanks to a goal in either half from Abdoulaye Doucoure and Lewis Dobbin, as Sean Dyche's rejuvenated Everton took another huge step away from relegation. Reece James was dealt another huge blow too, as he appeared to be holding hamstring after only just returning from his latest setback.
But it is Pochettino who faces the most scrutiny, after his high-profile arrival in the summer, it appears as if owner Todd Boehly is clear on his plan to stick with the 51-year-old for now, as the former Spurs boss is tasked with leading the side through a tough stage in their most recent history.
Many have begun to compare Pochettino's record with Chelsea's former boss, including the likes of Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter, with the club's tally appearing to point in the favour of the Argentine's predecessors.
After 15 games played of the 22/23 season, the Blues had won seven and mustered a total of 24 points, leaving them in a comfortable 8th position in the table. Just one month into that season, after a 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League, Tuchel was sacked by the club and was later replaced with former Brighton boss Potter.
