Mauricio Pochettino remained coy when he was asked if he would like Chelsea to sign Kylian Mbappe or Neymar. The Paris Saint-Germain duo, who once worked closely with the 51-year-old in the French capital, have both been heavily linked with exits from Les Parc des Princes this summer.
Earlier this month, Nasser Al-Khelaifi insisted that Mbappe has two weeks to sign a new deal with the Parisians otherwise he'll be sold. Almost four weeks have passed and the 24-year-old forward still hasn't committed his long-term future to PSG – nor has he found a new club.
With Mbappe expected to seek pastures new, whether it be this summer or next, Chelsea have reportedly entered the race to sign him. As for Neymar, he's reportedly considering his future with his contract set to expire in two-years.
When asked if he would like either of the PSG duo at Stamford Bridge, Pochettino replied: «I think in our past we were at Paris Saint Germain and with Kylian and think I need to be conscious that I cannot talk. Everything you talk is too much noise.
»It is a situation that is very delicate and one they need to fix in Paris with Kylian. For our side I have nothing to say. We are working on our reality, our reality is different. From my side, nothing to say, only to supporter them.
«I hope they find a solution for both sides. It is a club that I love, because I was a player, a captain and coach. With Kylian we create a very good relationship, I hope they can find the best solution for both sides.»
