Messi: Commentator goes viral for his 'awesome' and 'infectious' description

Lionel Messi is continuing to excel for Inter Miami and his second assist against Cincinnati prompting a classic piece of commentary from Ray Hudson.

Inter Miami were trailing 2-0 in the semi-finals of the US Open Cup, but Messi provided two assists for Leonardo Campana late on to send the game to extra-time.

After the match finished 3-3 following extra-time, Inter Miami prevailed on penalties, with Messi successfully converting his spot-kick.

Messi's second assist was especially impressive as he played an excellent pass into the path of Campana.

Hudson, working as a co-commentator for CBS, made the moment even more memorable with his commentary.

Hudson said: 'The madness of Messi arrives! Astonishing pass! He doesn't pull rabbits out of his magic hat, he pulls kangaroos!'

'But again Lionel Messi drops that kind of a beer into the shot glass at the other end of the bar in a different village!

Inter Miami are now through to the final of the US Open Cup, where they will take on Houston Dynamo next month.

Messi has already helped Inter Miami win their first trophy as they prevailed in the Leagues Cup.

Hudson's commentary prompted huge praise on social media.
