Micah Richards believes Liverpool have a "top player on their hands" in the form of Harvey Elliott.
Elliott was in fine form during Sunday's 4-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur, setting up Cody Gakpo to score the Reds' third of the afternoon before scoring a stunning goal of his own from outside the area.
The 21-year-old has now provided eight assists in all competitions in 2024, a tally bettered by only Rodri (9) and Kevin De Bruyne (14).
Such numbers highlight just how much the midfielder's game has improved during the current campaign, having also chipped in with four goals during the campaign.
Elliott has made a total of 51 appearances this term and is set to play an important role under the incoming Arne Slot, who will undoubtedly be excited by the prospect of working with the former Fulham man.

Pleased to get on the scoresheet during Liverpool's win, Elliott admitted after the game he was unsure at first if his curling effort was going to find the back of the net. He told Sky Sports: “You know, I thought it was [going] over, to be honest!
