It was a bad day in office for Super Falcons star Michelle Alozie as she was sent off in Houston Dash's 1-0 loss to San Diego Wave, in the US National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), on Sunday.
The Nigerian Women's international was sent off in the 33rd minute by centre referee Ekaterina Koroleva after tripping San Diego Wave player Rachel Hill, who was through on goal.
Houston Dash night turned from bad to worse after Jaedyn Shaw hit the back of the net for Wave FC in the 57th minute, to seal all three points for the home side.
