Chelsea are continuing their pursuit of a versatile attacker ahead of the transfer window closing later this week.
We are now into the final three days of the summer window and the Blues' business is nearly all complete. However, the club remain in the market for a winger who can also play in the middle as a No.10, with a big list of targets being considered in the latter stages of the window.
The likes of Bradley Barcola and Rayan Cherki are still being monitored but the club have not made official moves for either of them just yet, football.london understands. Now, reports are claiming Chelsea have expressed an interest in Arsenal attacker Emile Smith Rowe. The 23-year-old has three years remaining on his deal with the Gunners but is not fancied by Mikel Arteta at the moment. Smith Rowe has not played in a single minute in the Premier League yet this season and is being linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium. He has the likes of Leandro Trossard, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and even Fabio Vieira ahead of him in the pecking order in north London.
