Arsenal midfielder Charlie Patino wants to leave the club this summer, it is claimed.
The Gunners are going strong in the Premier League but attention will soon turn towards the summer transfer window with the futures of several players in doubt. Below, football.london takes a look at Patino's current situation amid transfer links with Italy and Spain...
The 20-year-old arrived at the Gunners' academy from Luton Town in 2015 where he went on to rise through Arsenal's youth setup before joining Blackpool on loan in August 2022, making 37 appearances. After Blackpool's relegation to League One, he remained in English football's second tier with Swansea City where he has made 34 appearances so far, with four goals and four assists in all competitions.
Patino has made two senior appearances for Mikel Arteta's side with both coming in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
The midfielder has also represented England at youth level with two appearances for the U-21 side so far. The youngster made his debut for Lee Carsley's team in September last year.

Reports in Italian media site Calciomercato. It claim that Patino has no intention of staying at Arsenal when his loan spell at Swansea ends this summer. It is claimed that Juventus and Roma are keen to explore a deal with the midfielder said to be fascinated by the idea of playing in Italy.
According to the Evening Standard, clubs in Spain are also said to be interested. The player has a Spanish passport through his father which would boost his hopes of moving to La Liga because clubs would avoid post-Brexit issues.
