Mohamed Salah was spotted back in Liverpool training on Tuesday as the Egyptian forward nears a return from a hamstring injury.
Salah suffered the injury early on in the Africa Cup of Nations and was embroiled in controversy when he returned to Liverpool for treatment — Salah had to publicly reject claims he had abandoned his nation.
The plan was for Salah to return to AFCON later in the competition but Egypt's surprise elimination meant the 31-year-old could focus solely on getting back to full fitness.
Having missed his side's last four Premier League games, Salah was back in training on Tuesday to join the preparations for this Saturday's trip to Brentford.
