Ajax star Mohammed Kudus is on his way to the Premier League but it is not to Arsenal or Chelsea but instead West Ham United.
The talented young playmaker had been linked with a move to both the Emirates Stadium and Stamford Bridge, with his versatility making him an appealing signing to Mikel Arteta or Mauricio Pochettino. However, the 23-year-old is instead heading to the east side of London to join David Moyes' West Ham.

Ajax statement
Ajax have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with West Ham United for the transfer of Kudus, with a deal costing an initial €43million (£36.9million).
A club statement from the Dutch side read: «Ajax and West Ham United FC have reached an agreement on the transfer of Mohammed Kudus to the club from London. The attacking midfielder's contract at Ajax ran until June 30, 2025. Ajax and West Ham United FC agreed on a € 43 million transfer fee.

Kudus is on the verge of completing his move to West Ham United this summer. According to Fabrizio Romano, a verbal agreement has been reached with Ajax in a deal that will see the Hammers pay €45million (£38.5m) including a sell-on clause and add-ons.
The player will sign a five-year deal with his medical penned in for Saturday.
