Napoli interested in Christophe Galtier in case of Rudi Garcia departure
According to RMC Sport Napoli are interested in bringing in Christophe Galtier and have reportedly made enquiries about the former Paris Saint-Germain manager’s availability. Napoli’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis is already planning in case of the departure of current boss Rudi Garcia.
RMC report that Garcia has four games to turn around Napoli’s fortunes, and that Galtier is currently interested in getting back into a coaching job.
This comes in the wake of reports that Galtier was contacted by Olympique de Marseille to replace the recently-departed Marcelino. The Spaniard left the Vélodrome after only three months in charge, owing to a meeting with fans who voiced their displeasure at the OM hierarchy, and according to the club, included violent threats.
Christophe Galtier has been out of a job since leaving PSG in the summer, after narrowly winning Ligue 1 and failing to progress through the Champions League round of 16 with Les Parisiens.
