Just over a month or so remains of the season for Tottenham's large group of loan players as they begin to contemplate what the next campaign holds for them.
Spurs have sent players out this season on loan to clubs across England in the Premier League and Football League as well as abroad to countries such as Turkey, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany and Italy. Eric Dier and Ivan Perisic also went on loan to Bayern Munich and Hajduk Split respectively, with both agreeing to join those clubs permanently this summer when their contracts at the north London club come to an end.
Here's how all of Tottenham's other 12 loan players have got on over the past week:
Tanguy Ndombele was involved in the most chaotic match of the weekend — the Turkish Super Cup final on Sunday. Galatasaray were set to take on Fenerbahce in the showpiece event but instead the latter side fielded their under-19 team before walking off a minute into the game in protest at what they felt was unfair treatment.
Fenerbahce had asked for the final, already rescheduled from December, to be postponed to help them prepare for their Europa League quarter-final against Olympiakos on Thursday night. However, their pleas went unanswered so they sent a youth team to the final and then they left the pitch after just a minute, in which time Mauro Icardi had already given Galatasaray the lead after 50 seconds.
The win was awarded to Galatasaray but the day was not yet finished as then they sent out their own reserves to play against their first team in order for the fans who had purchased tickets to at least watch some form of football.
