Fabian Schar and Joelinton are the latest additions to Newcastle's ever-worsening injury crisis as the duo limped off against Fulham.
Schar has played every minute of every league game for the Magpies this season, but he could be out for some time after pulling his hamstring.
Nick Pope — dislocated shoulder
Jacob Murphy — dislocated shoulder
Fabian Schar — hamstring
Joelinton — hamstring
Matt Targett — hamstring
Alexander Isak — groin
Joe Willock — Achilles
Harvey Barnes — toe
Elliot Anderson — back
Javier Manquillo — groin
Kieran Trippier — unspecified
The injury occurred as the centre-back advanced up the pitch with the ball before feeling his right hamstring go.
With the score at 0-0, he was replaced by Emil Krafth even with Sven Botman back on the bench, suggesting the Dutchman isn't fully fit either.
Soon after, he was joined by Joelinton who couldn't continue after suffering what looked to be another hamstring injury.
Eddie Howe's men have been decimated by injuries this season, with key players such as Botman, Joe Willock and Alexander Isak all missing chunks of the campaign.
Nick Pope is also set to be out for the majority of the season after dislocating his shoulder, so injuries to Schar and Joelinton is the last thing the Toon need with a Carabao Cup quarter-final and Wear-Tyne derby on the horizon.
