Simon Jordan has shut down claims that Thomas Tuchel should replace Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager. Xabi Alonso was first linked with the prospective vacancy at Anfield before committing his future to Bayer Leverkusen, so the Reds have had to expand their search for a new head coach.
Among the likes of Ruben Amorim, Roberto De Zerbi and Julian Nagelsmann, Tuchel has been mooted a potential candidate for the manager role. In February, Bayern Munich confirmed that the former Chelsea boss will leave the Allianz Arena at the end of the season, making him a free agent.
Despite sparkling credentials, Jordan does not believe Tuchel has what it takes to succeed Klopp. Speaking on talkSPORT, the former Crystal Palace owner said: "I wouldn't see it. I wouldn't see it from a coaching point of view.

"He (Klopp) joined it up, most of the time with his relationships with the sporting directors and owners of the football club. He was a unique phenomenon, you are looking for someone to replicate that which you won't find. You are not looking for someone to potentially divide it."
Unai Emery has also been thinly linked with replacing Klopp at Liverpool as he continues to exceed expectations at Aston Villa. The Spaniard has led the Villans to the Europa Conference League quarterfinal, while also mounting a bid for Champions League qualification in the race for top four.
