Speaking ahead of the opening match of the Ligue 1 season, OGC Nice manager Francesco Farioli has said that he is expecting further incomings before the end of the window.
So far, Nice have made just two signings. Jérémie Boga has arrived from Atalanta for a rumoured €18m fee, whilst Morgan Sanson has arrived from Premier League side Aston Villa. There is the option to make the French midfielder’s loan deal permanent at the end of the campaign. However, Farioli is expecting further incomings before the end of the window, which closes on 31st August.
“Yes, we will certainly see further transfers. How many exactly we don’t know. We have already worked on it these first weeks, looking at the profiles, and the names are already clearly identified, but it’s a question of time and possibilities. The choices have been fixed. Regardless of which players arrive, what is great is that in these opening weeks, the players here have evolved brilliantly,” Farioli told Get French Football journalist Luke Entwistle.
