Noni Madueke and Cole Palmer have heaped praise on Nicolas Jackson following Chelsea's emphatic win over West Ham at the weekend. The 22-year-old striker put two past David Moyes' side at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon as the Blues cruised to a 5-0 victory.
Palmer put the west London outfit ahead inside the opening quarter of an hour before Conor Gallagher chipped in on the half hour mark. Madueke beat Alphonse Areola moments later, giving Chelsea a three-goal lead at the break.
Shortly into the second half, Jackson etched himself onto the scoresheet. He later doubled his tally, wrapping up three crucial points for the Blues as the race for Europa League qualification builds a head of steam.
After the game, the former Villarreal ace marked the win with a celebratory post on Instagram – which racked up over 150,000 likes in less than 24 hours. In his caption, Jackson wrote: «One family [blue heart emoji] amazing win again let’s go for more.»
Nearly three thousand fans flooded the comment section with messages of support, but a few words from his Chelsea teammates stood out. Palmer showered Jackson with praise, writing: «Class bro [fire emoji].»
Meanwhile, Madueke claimed the striker as 'my nine'. Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella and Josh Kofi Acheampong, who made his senior debut off the bench against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday evening, also showed their support for Jackson.
