Strasbourg centre-forward Kevin Gameiro (36) will spend another season with his formative club, the Ligue 1 side have officially announced. The 36-year-old’s contract with the BlueCo-owned team expired at the end of last month. However, all the involved parties have found an agreement for Gameiro to remain at Strasbourg. Since his arrival on a free transfer for Valencia two years ago, the 13-time France international has logged 21 goals and five assists. L’Équipe understand that newly-appointed Strasbourg coach Patrick Vieira was particularly keen to retain the services of the former Sevilla man.
