Police are conducting enquiries into an incident which took place after a County Antrim Junior Shield football match in Ballymena on Saturday.
Footage of the incident was shared widely on social media, and appeared to show two sets of teams and supporters becoming involved in skirmishes on a pitch in the Warden Street area of the town.
The video was filmed from the stand at nearby Ballymena Showgrounds, where Ballymena United were taking on Coleraine FC in the NIFL Premiership.
Images of injuries sustained by some of those involved were also posted online.
It is understood that the two teams involved were Mossley FC II and All Saints Old Boys, which are based in the Co Antrim town.
Footage of Mossley’s winning goal in the 1-0 victory was posted to their Facebook page after the game, with the club opting to disable the comments function.
The PSNI has said no complaints were received as a result of the incident, but that enquiries were “ongoing”.
"Police received a report of a disturbance in the Warden Street area of Ballymena shortly before 3.50pm on Saturday, October 21,” said a spokesperson.
“Officers attended and were informed of a further disturbance in a near-by carpark.
"No complaints have been made at this time. Enquiries are ongoing.”
Representatives of Mossley FC and All Saints Old Boys have been approached for comment, as well as the County Antrim FA, who are responsible for the competition.
