A new season hasn't brought immediate success in Paris. PSG haven't quite clicked into gear under new manager Luis Enrique, and have drawn three of their first eight Ligue 1 games. Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe is uncharacteristically out of form, failing to score in four games for his club.
There are a couple of injuries to contend with, too. Vice-captain Presnel Kimpembe remains out after rupturing his Achilles tendon last spring — although he is making progress. Reigning Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year Nuno Mendes has also undergone hamstring surgery that will keep him sidelined until the new year. Nordi Mukiele is also still working his way back into the fray.
