PSG v Lens predicted lineups: Mbappé in line for first start of the season
The last time Lens travelled to the Parc des Princes would prove to be the title decider, with the 3-1 defeat being the only one of the last 12 games of the campaign that Franck Haise’s men did not win. Salis Abdul Samed’s early red card and the hosts’ subsequent flurry of three goals would effectively wrap up the top-of-the-table clash by half-time.
This time, France’s two Champions League representatives go into the match winless so far, and have gone through a summer of personnel change. Kylian Mbappé looks set to start his first game of the season after ostensibly coming to a truce with the PSG management in their stand-off over his contract extension, while new signing Ousmane Dembélé is in the eleven for the first time. Kang-in Lee, who had started the first two games of the campaign, is out until afer the international break with a thigh muscle injury.
Elye Wahi is set for his first Lens appearance since his move from Montpellier was completed last week, although he will start from the bench. Florian Sotoca will lead the line from the start, while Abdul Samed will be looking to make amends for his last outing in the capital.
