RB Leipzig director of sport Max Eberl has admitted that they don't need to sell Manchester City target Josko Gvardiol following the sale of Dominik Szoboszlai to Liverpool.
The Croatian has been subject to intense speculation this summer, while reports have claimed the highly-rated 21-year-old was set to undergo a medical with the Premier League champions after an agreement was reached.
Gvardiol is currently contracted at the Red Bull Arena until 2027 as Marco Rose's side reportedly wants at least €100m (£86.7m) for the defender.
However, on Friday the Leipzig chief continued his stern approach to tackling the speculation surrounding the central defender. The Bundesliga side have already relinquished control of two of their prized assets this summer.

Already Die Roten Bullen have parted ways with DFB Pokal heroes Christopher Nkunku and Szoboszlai, who completed moves to Chelsea and Liverpool respectively.
The Reds triggered Szoboszlai's £60m release clause hours before its expiry on June 30. In doing so, they welcomed their second summer signing, following the arrival of Alexis Mac Allister.
With the ongoing interest from Pep Guardiola's side, Eberl poured cold water on the bubbling murmurs surrounding Gvardiol, suggesting the Reds' business has meant they don't need the money.
"The fact is that Man City would like to have him," Eberl told Sky Germany. "Currently we are still very far apart. The transfer of Szoboszlai has secured us financially. We don't need the money. We would prefer Josko to stay.
