Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has been discussing his future amid claims that he could replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
De Zerbi has been linked with the top job at Anfield, especially after Xabi Alonso decided to stay at Bayer Leverkusen. The Italian coach has reportedly gained plenty of admirers since arriving at the Seagulls in 2022, guiding the club to a sixth place finish last season and overseeing their first European campaign.
The Brighton boss has emerged as a leading contender to be Klopp’s replacement at Liverpool, though he has also been mentioned as a possible option for Manchester United and Bayern Munich. However, the 44-year-old has insisted that his focus is on Brighton finishing in the European places for the second consecutive season.

“It's not a problem, it's part of my work," De Zerbi said about the speculation around his future. "At the moment, I want to be focused and to keep my eyes on the target we have and we can reach.
“I have the contract. The focus is on the pitch. I'm really relaxed and without problems. The problems are the injured players or the preparation of the next game because we have a very tough schedule. This is the problem, not my contract or my future."
