Roberto De Zerbi has provided an update on his future at Brighton and Hove Albion, sending Liverpool a clear message. The 44-year-old has been one of numerous managers linked with replacing Jurgen Klopp at Anfield after the Reds boss announced his decision to leave at the end of the season.
De Zerbi replaced Graham Potter at the Amex Stadium at the start of last season and, despite arriving at such short notice, he managed to secure the Seagulls sixth place in the Premier League. The Italian has continued to impress this term, leading Brighton into the knockout stages of the Europa League.
With Liverpool in the market for a new head coach, De Zerbi has emerged as a contender for the prospective vacancy in Merseyside. However, while the Seagulls boss may be attracting interest in his services, he is under contract on the south coast until 2026.

Ahead of Brighton's clash against Fulham at Craven Cottage this weekend, De Zerbi has quizzed on his future and whether he'll still be at the club next season. Keeping his cards close to his chest, the Italian said: "I have only Brighton in my head.
"I would like to finish the season in the best way with our young players - to compete and win as many games as we can," he added. "Yes, I have a contract. I have decided nothing. My focus is on Brighton - 100 per cent."
