Romeo Lavia transfer latest after Liverpool target was unused sub in first Southampton game
Southampton manager Russell Martin admits that more players will leave his squad soon as Liverpool pursue midfielder Romeo Lavia.
The Reds have already had two bids rejected for the 19-year-old, the most recent of which was a package worth around £41m.
Southampton are believed to be holding out for an asking price of £50m for the player they purchased for an initial £12m last summer.
Lavia was an unused substitute on Friday night for the opening fixture of the Championship campaign. Saints won 2-1 away to Sheffield Wednesday, with goals coming from Adam Armstrong and Che Adams.
Speaking after the match, Martin said: "Of course there will be people going, and when they do go hopefully we will be able to add to the group with players that suit us, and will help the group."

Following the second rejected offer for Romeo Lavia earlier this week, the ECHO reported the emergence of the 22-year-old as a possible target with Liverpool's interest genuine.
Fast-forward five days and if Brazilian outlet Terra, via Paisley Gates, are to be believed, the situation must be unfolding positively as the midfielder's club have been informed to expect a bid "in the coming days."
