Liverpool's quest for a fourth summer signing continues.
Time is running out for Jurgen Klopp and the recruitment team to settle on at least one more addition as the window shuts on Friday, September 1.
Wataru Endo was a surprise arrival last week as he was brought in as Liverpool's new defensive midfielder but it remains to be seen as to whether another 'six' will be integrated into the squad. Ryan Gravenberch of Bayern Munich, Fluminense's Andre Trindade and France Under-21 duo Khephren Thuram and Manu Kone continue to be linked with moves to the Reds.
Although, midfield isn't the only position that has been subject to speculation as there is talk that Liverpool boss Klopp could look to bolster his defence as well.

Here are the latest transfer rumours surrounding the Reds...
Bayern Munich have a decision to make on Ryan Gravenberch's future amid interest from Liverpool and Manchester United.
That is according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, who has described the situation as "not easy." He said: "I think yes, it’s not easy. It’s not an easy situation because it depends on Bayern. The player would be open to a Premier League move, but he was already open in January. So, it’s a similar situation to the January transfer window.
"Both Liverpool and Manchester United called the player’s agents last week to ask for information regarding how the feeling was on the player’s side and if there is a chance to make it happen.
"The feedback is always the same. Gravenberch would be open to that possibility."
