Sekhukhune United head coach Lehlohonolo Seema bemoaned the side's slow start to the game against Mamelodi Sundowns.
Sekhukhune were 2-0 down in the first seven minutes after lack of concentration and mistakes led to Tashreeq Matthews scoring within the first minute and Thapelo Morena doubled the Brazilians' lead six minutes later.
Chibuike Ohizu pulled a goal back early in the second stanza.
"If you have a start like this, that we had today against Sundowns, you're not going to win the game. We made it difficult in the first seven minutes. I'm sure Sundowns couldn't believe their eyes or their luck.
