Real Madrid's official club television channel Real Madrid TV have been reported to the RFEF by Sevilla.
The club announced on their website ahead of their La Liga clash on Sunday that they felt Real Madrid TV's actions had undermined the integrity of the league's officials.
Quique Sanchez Flores' side head to the Bernabeu tomorrow on the back of a four match unbeaten run in the league but they still sit 15th in the league.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid come into the game top of La Liga on the back of a 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano after thumping second-placed Girona 4-0.
Sunday's match also marks the first time Sergio Ramos returns to his former club in four years, but Sevilla's decision to report their opponents has the potential to start the reunion off on the wrong foot.
In an official club statemement Sevilla said: 'We wish to undeline in the strongest terms these orchestrated campaigns aimed at undermining refereeing integrity.
'The club wishes to confirm through a written statement to the Competition Committee of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
'We have reported the campaign of prosecution and harrassment towards the referee Diaz de Mera and Gonzalez Fuertes (VAR) for tomorrow evening's game against Real Madrid orchestrated by Real Madrid TV, the official club television channel of Real Madrid.
'We wish to formall report these events to the RFEF to see if these actions can be considered as a violation of competition rules or any other regulations.
'The club also wishes to reiterate its strongest condemnation of these orchestratedcampaigns aimed at undermining the image of the refereeing body.
'Causing serious harm to Spanish football and calling into question the integrity of the competition.'
